Nobody has aged because barely any time passed between S1 and S2.
(The "Queen" still employs Ciel as her Watchdog because 1) she may not know what the real Queen did to him and 2) why waste an employee as valuable as the Watchdog?) And nobody informs Ciel about his lost memories because Sebastian told everyone not to say anything to him. He has no clue what happened in S1: He cannot remember that the Queen sent Ash/Angela to kill his parents, that the Queen is actually not the real Queen, that his aunt Angelina was Jack the Ripper and died, and so on. Sebastian did get his hands on Ciel's soul and was able to put it back into his body - unfortunately, Ciel lost his memories though. That's why Sebastian came to Trancy Manor in S2E1 in this awful disguise: He cannot eat Ciel's body, and Claude stored Ciel's soul away. However, this didn't work out because Sebastian was too slow and Claude Faustus (Alois' demon butler) was able to snatch Ciel's soul before Sebastian got the chance to eat it.Ĭlaude put the soul away in the tea box while Sebastian only had Ciel's rather useless body left. At the end of S1, Sebastian tried to eat Ciel's soul and, thus, kill him.
